Description

The Mountain to Sound Chapter of AACN will be hosting our annual fall symposium this October - a dynamic, full-day event aimed at advancing critical care nursing knowledge and collaboration. The symposium will begin with a keynote from Kathleen Vollman exploring nursing’s evolving role in healthcare, followed by a series of breakout sessions across multiple tracks. Topics included stigma and bias in patient care, acute kidney injury, psychosis in the ICU, and pediatric respiratory conditions.

A unique feature of the symposium is the interactive "Escape Room" experience, focusing on complex acid-base disturbances, offered throughout the day in limited-capacity sessions. Attendees will also engage with vendors during designated breaks and over lunch.

CCRN® & PCCN® Certification Review Course - Portland ME

November 5 to November 6, 2025

Event Times

Day 1: CCRNs will meet from 8:00AM – 5:00PM. PCCNs will meet from 8:00AM – 3:50PM.
Day 2: Both will meet from 8:00AM – 4:30PM.

Description

The CCRN® & PCCN® Certification Course is designed to follow the AACN Certification Test Plan for the Adult CCRN® & PCCN® exams.  This review will assist nurses who provide direct care to acutely/critically ill adult patients to obtain their certification.
